How to Grow Your Brand on Instagram Organically

Written By: Tatiana Jancowski

At first, it may seem like you are putting in so much effort on your page, but the results are not showing for it. HJ-PR intern, Tatiana, tells us her top 4 tricks to help you grow your brand’s Instagram page organically.

How often are you posting on your page? It is crucial to set up a posting schedule to ensure that you are being consistent. Nobody wants to follow an account that is posting something every other hour, but you should shoot for at least a post and stories every day to start. This will build your profile and provide your followers with a lot of content to look through once they discover you.

Follow the right people. To start, follow your favorite influencers who are in the same niche as your brand/company. For example, if you have a clothing brand, follow all fashion influencers who have the same style as your clothing pieces. Then, you want to go through and follow their followers because those people are following that influencer because they like their style (Hint: These people are your target market!)

ENGAGE ENGAGE ENGAGE! Be sure to go through your feed and like and comment on photos you genuinely have an interest in. This may seem very time-consuming but engaging is key! By doing so, you are drawing attention to your account- Don’t you click on people’s profiles who comment on your photos that you don’t know yet? Also, people appreciate the engagement on their photos so more often than not they return the favor. Treat other people’s pages how you would want yours to be treated- with love!

Last but not least, HAVE FUN! Don’t look at growing your Instagram page as a job. Have fun with it, post pictures that you are proud to share, comment on photos that you genuinely are interested in, and follow people who inspire you. At the end of the day, you want your page to be successful, just like everyone else, but if you enjoy the process the followers will come much easier.
