Manifest Your Goals In 2023

Beginning a new year not only gives us a chance to reflect on our growth from the past year, but to also have a fresh start. It’s the perfect opportunity to wipe your slate clean and make positive changes- or try something new! It’s very common for people to make New Year’s resolutions, but manifesting your goals instead may actually be more effective. A resolution can have a negative connotation that implies something needs to be fixed. Manifestation has a different energy around it that is more about seeing a goal and attracting your desires. 

Manifestation is having aspirational thoughts with the intention of them becoming real. It is when your thoughts and energy align with what you desire. You are consciously creating what you want to bring to your life. The new year is the ideal time to set new goals and to attract positive energy into your life. Whether your goals are career-related, personal, or even related to your love life, manifesting can be a new approach you might want to try out. 

Here are my suggestions:

  1. Set crystal-clear intentions by writing them down. When you write them down, you are putting them out into the universe.This method is related to the law of attraction. It is a philosophy that explains how positive thoughts will bring positive results and negative thoughts bring negative outcomes. Having them written down will also help you hold yourself accountable and stay motivated with a more optimistic perspective.
  1. Create a vision board. A vision board is a physical manifestation of your goals. Whether digitally or physically, it is a collection of images or words that are related to your desires in 2023. This is a good way to remind yourself of what you wish to achieve and it can serve as a means of holding yourself accountable. According to Psychology Today, daily visualization work can increase motivation, confidence, and even motor performance. One study found that for athletes, visualization works almost as well as physical practice. 
  1. Let go of expectations and free yourself from resistance to outcomes. A huge part of manifesting is trusting that the universe will deliver what is meant for you. With this perspective, it will allow you to release yourself from many stressors caused by trying to control everything in your life. You will find that you’re able to relax a lot more without the worries of what’s going to happen. You will eventually become the best version of yourself!
